It’s your wedding day.
You’ve hired caterers, musicians, florists, a wedding consultant. There is one more important detail – YOU.
I will make you – the bride – feel relaxed, confident and beautiful on your wedding day. For hair and makeup that feels like you — only better – that lasts from the first kiss to the last dance. Picture perfect, for the most beautiful day of your life.
Consultations are recommended especially to determine the hairstyle for the bride. I recommend consultations be booked not more than 2 months in advance of the wedding date. Please feel free to bring photographs and magazine tears of your favorite makeup and hairstyle designs. A picture is worth a thousand words.
Portrait fees are the same as the wedding day. If you would like me to stay for touchups during the portrait session, the first half hour is included in the portrait session fee. Each hour thereafter is $75.00 per hour. I recommend booking the extra time if you are going to be at an outdoor location.
There is an additional charge for extra long or thick hair.
Airbrush makeup creates an almost pore-less finish by applying makeup in a pattern much like a pointillist painting or pixels on a computer screen. Also great for coverage of blemishes, tattoos and acne.
All services are customized to the client’s needs. Please call 214-797-9600 or e-mail to inquire about pricing for specific services or to book an appointment.
As the scope of my work includes film and television assignments I have a limited number of weddings I can do each year. The fee is based upon time available, travel, kit, and my skill and experience. The time constraints of the venue and allowing for photography ads additional pressure. In order to create the best possible experience for the bride I generally do not offer hair and makeup services for bridal party members. I prefer to give my undivided attention to the bride on this important day. Of course I can assist you in booking additional hairstylist(s) and makeup artist(s) for your wedding party, if needed. There are sometimes exceptions . . . just ask.
Here are a few comments from satisfied clients:
Penny….penny for your thoughts…..I had the most amazing experience with you on our Strictly Weddings Video Shoot. You were wonderful to work with….you listened and understood what I am used to, as I am not a big make-up person….but had a special way of convincing me that more is better for video. I recently had an opportunity to view a video that was shot without professional make-up…it is the difference between night & day (with you). I respect your talent, professionalism and your calm demeanor. I loved the end result, especially the long lush eye lashes. I will always refer you, my dear. Thank you for partnering with us on this more than perfect day!Meredith StrodeAssociate Director, Nasher Sculpture Center

Her past clients include Brooke Shields, Kelly Clarkson, President George W. Bush, and Anderson Cooper. You might’ve heard of them.”

I was realizing the other day how often I think of people who are connected to objects I handle daily. With you, it’s my foundation brush because I never would have gotten one if you hadn’t told me to. There must be countless people who think of you kindly every day as they’re putting on their makeup. It’s a nice kind of work to do.Robin UnderdahlAuthor
