It’s your wedding day. You’ve hired caterers, musicians, florists, and a wedding consultant. There is one more important detail – YOU. I will make you – the bride – feel relaxed, confident, and beautiful on your wedding day. For hair and makeup that feels like you, only better. Makeup that lasts from the first kiss to the last dance. Picture perfect, for the most beautiful day of your life. Consultations are recommended especially for hairstyling. Very often I find the bride has an idea of how she’d like the hairstyle for the wedding but once we get into trying it out, adjustments are needed. Obviously, these decisions should not be made on the day of the wedding. I recommend consultations be booked about two months in advance of the wedding date. Please feel free to bring photographs and magazine tears of your favorite makeup and hairstyle designs. A picture is worth a thousand words. Note: There is an additional charge for extra long or thick hair and/or the addition of extensions. A portrait session is often an opportunity to meet before the wedding and make some hair and makeup decisions. It can serve as a “trial run” in some cases. If you would like me to stay for touchups during the portrait session, the first half hour is included in the portrait session fee. Each hour thereafter is $75.00 per hour. I recommend booking the extra time if the photo session is going to be outdoors as the weather can be unpredictable. All services are customized to the client’s needs. Due to my travel schedule, I have a limited number of weddings I can do each year. My fee is based on travel, my professional makeup kit costs, and my skill and experience. Keep in mind that the time constraints of the venue and allowing for photography ads additional pressure. To create the best possible experience for the bride I generally do not offer hair and makeup services for bridal party members. I prefer to give my undivided attention to the bride on this important day. Of course, I can assist you in booking additional hairstylist(s) and makeup artist(s) for your wedding party, if needed. There are sometimes exceptions . . . just ask.
